Ernest F. Dietrich, 90, of New Tripoli, died on April 25, 2015, in Cornerstone Living, New Tripoli.

He was predeceased by his wife Alice M. (Fetherolf) Dietrich in 1989.

Born in Lynn Township, he was a son of the late Edgar H. and Mabel (Fenstermaker) Dietrich.

A 1943 graduate of the former Slatington High School, he was lifelong, self-employed farmer in Lynn Township and a truck driver for the former Freemans Dairy, Allentown, from 1967 until he retired in 1987.

He was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Jerusalem "Red" Church, Kempton.

His survivors include a daughter, Doris A., wife of Leroy Koch of New Tripoli; son, Lester E. and wife Jan of Allentown; brother, Nevin G. of New Tripoli; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a sister, Edna Bauscher, and a companion, Grace E. Rauch.

His funeral service will be at the convenience of the family in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.

Interment will take place in Jerusalem "Red" Church Cemetery, Kempton, with Robert J. Billig Jr. officiating.
