Adult Literacy transition course offered

The Center for Adult Literacy at Northampton Community College is offering a free college transition course from May 11 to June 17 at the Fowler Southside Center, 511 E. Third St. The course will run from 12:30 to 3 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.

College and career preparation activities, higher level reading, writing, mathematics and support needed to successfully transition to post secondary education will be offered. Pennsylvania residents, at least 18 years of age, who possess a high school or GED diploma and who attend a pre-course student orientation and assessment testing are eligible.
