Sister M. Marcia, 81, of the School Sisters of St. Francis, died on April 14, 2015, in Bethlehem. She was a daughter of the late Joseph and Veronica (Kozel) Fidishun.

She entered the community from St. Michael Parish, Tresckow, in 1956; professed her first vows in 1957 in Mount Assisi Convent Chapel, Pittsburgh; and then attended classes at Mount Mercy College (now Carlow University), Pittsburgh, and Holy Family College, Philadelphia.

She taught the primary and middle grades in many parish schools for 30 years in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and New Jersey. From 1985-88, she was the principal of SS. Cyril & Methodius School in Clifton, N.J. She taught pre-school and in after school care for 14 years. From 2004-13, she was a clerical aid in the finance office at Monocacy Manor.

She is survived by her religious community; two brothers, Joseph and Thomas;ar sister, Elizabeth Ceol; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, Bernard, Vincent and Patrick; and a sister, Ethel Sofianek.
