On Saturday, May 2, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3355 MacArthur Road, will hold a Mother's Day craft fair and quilt sale.

There will be more than 100 craft tables, quilted items, homemade baked goods, a Chinese auction and refreshments.

Hokendauqua Park and Playground Association is hosting a Night at the Races on Saturday, May 16 with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the first race starting at 6 p.m.

Videotapes will be shown of actual horse races.

The event takes place at Cementon Playground pavilion on Dewey Street.

Food and refreshments will be available.
