Eleanor G. German, 93, of Allentown, died April 18, 2015, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Wilson O. German.

Born Dec. 22, 1921, in Ormrod, she was the daughter of the late Oliver and Eva S. (Fatzinger) Weaver.

Prior to her marriage and raising seven children, she was a sewing machine operator at the former Egypt Pants Factory for three years.

She was a life member of the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company.

Her survivors include children Patricia A. Burkhardt of Schnecksville, Charlotte E. Bauer of Slatington, Ellen J. Peters of Whitehall, Elaine R., wife of Jeffrey Schoemaker of Orefield, Wilson G. German of Allentown, Ruth M., wife of Frederick Ruch of Emmaus, Debra K., wife of Thomas Allen of Allentown; brother Willard O. Weaver and his wife, Ruth, of Slatedale; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings Charles, Marvolene, Sterling and Kenneth Weaver.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. April 24, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc. 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. James D. Robison, Jr. officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects from 10-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service at Slatedale Cemetery.
