A thunderstorm is like a loud voice sounding through the night.
The light it makes is like a night light going on and off.
It is darker than macadam in the night.
It cracks and smacks like a baseball hitting a bat.
It is higher than a plane can go in the sky.
It is here and there quicker than light.
If the light hits you, it stings like a bear bite.
It is feared like a warrior.
the patter patter puts me out like a baby.
The rain is soft like a baby's skin.
