Whitehall Township Public Library Column
The kick-off party for the Whitehall Township Public Library's 50th anniversary was held Saturday, April 11 at the library.
More than 100 people attended the party, where they enjoyed music, food and good conversation.
On behalf of the library board, staff and friends of the library, I would like to thank everyone for their help in making the event happen and all who attended.
During the celebration, the library received proclamations from State Reps. Julie Harhart (R-183rd) and Daniel McNeill (D-133rd) and from State Sen. Lisa Boscola (D-18th).
Photos will be posted on the library's Facebook page and on the display near the circulation desk.
Keep an eye on this column and read the library newsletter and website for more information about additional programs this year.
Thank you for supporting the library!
