Mary L. Spirk, 93, of Bethlehem, died March 29, 2015. Born in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Rose (Loprete) and Theodosio Soda. She was the wife of the late John F. Spirk Sr. for 62 years.

She worked for Western Electric from which she retired in 1983.

She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.

She was a member of the Pioneers Club and UNICO.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosemary Spirk Hensel; a son, John "Jack" Jr. and his wife Marian; a sister, Joann "Jennie" Harrison; five grandchildren, Drew and his wife Tanya Hensel and Maria, John, Kathryn and Michael Spirk; and two great-granddaughters, Leah and Erika Hensel.

She was predeceased by an infant son, John Ralph; two brothers, Ralph and Frank; and two sisters, Lucy and Rose.
