Jean C. Shook, 70, of Allentown, died April 12, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Born Dec. 29, 1944, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Zula Mae (Kline) Waylen.

She was a nurse's aide at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, South Whitehall Township, for 25 years before retiring.

A member of St. Anne's Episcopal Church, Trexlertown, she enjoyed playing bingo.

Her survivors include children Tina M. Shook, with whom she resided, Dean H. of Allentown, Larry L. Jr. of Macungie; and grandchildren Devon Woodlin, Dean Jr. and Ethan Shook.

She was predeceased by siblings Mary Dries, Laura Waylen and Harold Waylen.

Her memorial service will be 7:30 p.m. April 20, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Canon Michael F. Piovane, Ed.D. officiating.

A visitation period will be 6:30- 7:30 p.m. Monday.

Interment will be private.
