Anthony F. Cerando, 89, of Orefield, died on April 10, 2015, surrounded by his loving family, in his home.

He was the husband of Lois B. (Peters) Kern-Cerando.

Born Nov. 22, 1925, in Warren, Warren County, he was the son of the late Frank and Carmela (Talarico) Cerando.

Before retiring in 1995, he was the agency manager of Baltimore Life Insurance Co., Allentown, for 42 years.

Faithfully and honorably serving his country in the U.S. Army during World War II, he was a life member of the American Legion, VFW and Elks.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Nikki Kern of Orefield, Noureen Stephanie Roberts and her husband, Lee, of Orefield, Perian Cerando and her husband, Scott Grande, of Northampton, Paula English and her husband, Jim, of Florida, Randy Cerando of Emmaus, Todd Crockett of Florida; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a daughter Antoinette Crockett; son Sean Crockett; and siblings Samuel, Frank, Victoria Meyers, Sarah Cooper, and Mary De Marco.

His funeral services will be 11 a.m. April 17, in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with the Rev. Dr. Patience D. Stevenson officiating.

Family and friends may pay their respects 10-11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Interment with military honors will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs.
