BASD: Mini-THON set for April 11

Mini-THON Save the date: this year's BASD mini-Thon will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. April 11 at Liberty HS. Come and join the fun while supporting a great fundraiser.

Miller Hts. ES: Related Arts showcase

Miller Heights ES will hold a related arts showcase from 6 to 7:30 p.m. April 9 at the school and will be holding a Related Arts showcase to highlight student learning in the art, music, instrumental music, academic integration and library classrooms. Families are invited to observe and participate in activities at their own pace.

Charter Arts: Art display April 21

Lehigh Valley Academy Regional Charter School students will participate in the Community Canvas event from 6 to 8 p.m. April 21 at the Bethlehem Area Public Library, 11 W. Church St. The students will display their art which promotes healthy habits for children. There will be both an audience and a Facebook vote to select a winner.

There will be healthy snacks and music. The program is sponsored by Children's Hospital at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Communities in Schools, and Lehigh Valley Art Spark.
