Frances C. Long, 70, from Allentown, died on March 30, 2015, in her home.

She and her husband Robert T. Long were married 47 years Jan. 20.

Born June 5, 1944, in Monroe, Quachita Parish, La., she was the daughter of the late Carroll X. and Agnes (Fraser) Lovering.

A graduate of the former Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing, she was a registered nurse at Phoebe Home, Allentown for 25 years before retiring in 2000. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholc Church, Orefield.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by sons, Robert B. and his wife, Carol, of Schnecksville, Timothy T. of Allentown; sister Agnes Hunter of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; and grandchildren, Jarett and Ashley. Expressions of sympathy may be recorded at heintzelmancares.com.
