Ellen F. Reppert, 98, of Kutztown, formerly of Allentown, died April 4, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Norman A. Reppert Sr.

Born in Weisenberg Township, she was a daughter of the late Francis and Bertha (Peters) Hartman.

She was formerly a cook and baker for both the Kempton Hotel and the former SkyView Restaurant, Krumsville, until retirement.

She was a member of the UCC congregation of Ziegels Union Church, Breinigsville.

Her survivors include daughters Betty Anicola of Kutztown, Jean Moore of Schnecksville, Darlene and husband David Dittrick of Laurel, Del., and Dawn Reppert of Kutztown; sons Donald Hartman and his companion Nancy Kramer of Topton, Norman Reppert Jr. and wife Juana, Dennis Reppert Sr. and wife Debbie of Kutztown; sisters Annie Ely of Kutztown, Joyce and husband Jay Sacks of Mertztown; brother Russell Hartman of Hamburg; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; 42 great-great-grandchildren and two great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son Harold Hartman; grandson Blaine Price Jr.; sisters Bertha Adams and Ruth Dries; and brothers Henry, Irwin, Paul and Milton Hartman.

Her funeral service will be 2 p.m. April 9 in Nester Funeral Home, 8405 Kings Highway, New Tripoli.

Calling hours begin 12:30 p.m. The Rev. Candi Caine-Borgman will officiate.

Interment in Jacob's Union Cemetery, New Tripoli.
