Gretchen Badman-Spier, 100, formerly of Wescosville, died March 25, 2015, at Gracedale Nursing Home. She was the wife of her first husband Raymond Badman and her second husband George Spier. Born in Sommerville, N.J., she was one of the last 15 children born to Charles and Martha (Spohmheim) Miller.

She was a member of Jordan U.C.C., Allentown.

Before retiring in 1980, she worked as a sewing machine operator for Hersh Manufacturing for 15 years and prior for Phoenix Clothes.

She is survived by sons, Alton W. and his wife MaryLou Badman, of Grand Forks, N.D., Raymond E. and his wife Ruth Badman, of Northampton, Gene R. and his wife Sandra Badman, of Slatington, Ronald A. and his wife Donna Badman, of Wescosville; 19 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
