Albert J. Hunsicker, 86, of Allentown, died April 4, 2015, in the home of his daughter, Diane L. McKenzie of Macungie. He was the husband of Barbara Ann Hunsicker who died Feb. 10, 2015. They celebrated their 64th wedding anniversary Jan. 27, 2015.
Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Lewis E. Hunsicker Sr. and the late Lillian E. (Dorney) Hunsicker.
After graduation from Allentown High School in 1946, he began a career as a professional truck driver at Semmel Excavating, Allentown. He then went to work driving trucks for his brother at Lewis E. Hunsicker Jr. Excavating, Allentown. In 1979 he began driving trucks for Lower Macungie Township retiring in 1992.
He was a member of Cedar United Church of Christ, Cetronia.
He loved to hunt and fish. He was looking forward to spring and selling corn and chatting with his regular customers at his annual roadside stand.
He is survived by a daughter, Diane L. McKenzie, of Macungie; grandson, David A., Jr. and daughter-in-law, Margery Bonser, both of Allentown; sister, Betty, and her husband Henry Rockel, of Coopersburg; sister-in-law, Dolores Rehrig, of Allentown; nieces; and nephews.
He was predeceased by a son, David A. Sr., in 2013.

A funeral service will be 11 a.m. April 8 at Cedar United Church of Christ.
Arrangements were made by the J. S. Burkholder Funeral Home, Allentown.
