Whitehall Township Public Library
The kick-off party for the library's 50th anniversary is scheduled for Saturday. April 11, 1-4 p.m.
Cake, refreshments, music and a photo display of the history of the library will be available.
Everyone is invited to our 2015 celebration of 50 years of service to the Whitehall and surrounding communities.

One of our popular programs offered during the year is "How to sell on eBay." A session on this topic will be held this Saturday, from 10 a.m. to noon in the community room.
Patrons will learn the basic way to sell an item on eBay, how to list items, take photos, sell, ship and get paid.

Tomorrow, April 3, we will have a mini-health fair, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
The event will include information from various health institutions such as Sacred Heart Hospital and Aetna Better Health Kids, along with a free blood pressure screening.

The library will have an indoor yard sale Thursday. April 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, April 17, from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; and Saturday, April 18, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
There will also be a special bag sale from noon to 2 p.m. The charge will be $5 a bag.

The library is also accepting clean, gently used items. No large items or electronics will be accepted.
Donations will be accepted after April 11 during library hours.
The funds raised will help with the extra programs for the 50th anniversary celebration.

The adult book discussion is scheduled the first Tuesday and Thursday in April and May.
The April book talk includes "Loving Frank" by Nancy Horan on Thursday, April 2, from 6 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday, April 7, from 1 to 2 p.m.
The May book talk will include "God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater; Or, Pearls Before Swine" by Kurt Vonnegut on Tuesday, May 5, from 1 to 2 p.m., and Thursday, May 7, from 6 to 7 p.m.
