Frank Koren Sr.

Frank Koren Sr., 87, of Northampton, formerly of Orefield, died March 15, 2015, in ManorCare Health Services, Salisbury Township.

He was the husband of the late Elva R. (Smith) Koren.

Born Dec. 21, 1927, in Northampton, he was the son of the late Joseph and Theresa (Halese) Koren.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II as a staff sergeant.

He was a photo engraver for the former Tarkett, in Fullerton for 40 years before retiring in 1993.

He was a member of Morgenland Union Church, Orefield.

His survivors include sons, Frank Jr. and his wife, Sandra, of Orefield, Daniel M. and his wife, Ann, of Neffs, Gregory and his wife, Kathy, of Northampton; sister Elizabeth Wuchter of Northampton; grandchildren Kristofer, Megan, Jarrett, Kelly and Cassidy; great-grandchildren Abby, Aubree, Ashlyn, Addison, Jakob, Justin, Brayden and Roman.

He was predeceased by brothers Joseph, Steven, William and James.
