Carl R. Kressley, 78, of Mertztown, died on March 24, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital.
He and his wife Judith A. (Fenstermacher) Kressley celebrated their 57th wedding anniversary last October.
Born in Slatington, he was a son of the late Raymond F. and Pearl A. (Hausman) Kressley.
A truck driver and diesel mechanic for Nothstein Brothers, Trexlertown, for 36 years before retiring, he also worked at Seidel Mowers for 15 years.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Mertztown.
He enjoyed his grandchildren, great-grandchildren, baseball, working on lawn mowers, his garden and auto racing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Jeffrey C. and wife, Carol L., Ronald C. and wife, Michelle L., Steven C. and wife, Donna L., Russell C. and wife, Carol J.; Ray C. and wife, Bonny C.; daughter, Brenda C. wife of Joseph A. Fatzinger, Jr; sisters Ruthann, wife of Terry Snyder, Marie, wife of George Micolochick; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
