Hellertown Borough residents will soon see changes to a traffic pattern and on-street parking in and around the Saucon Valley Farmers Market.

Council members approved the changes, pursuant to Police Chief Robert Shupp's recommendation at their March 17 meeting.

Due to the changes, Rohn Road will temporarily convert into a one-way street Sundays, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., with parking prohibited on the street.

Council also announced the farmers market this year will not be held in the Water Street Park, due to construction work.

The market is open 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sundays, from May 3 through November.

Also during the meeting, council announced the Easter egg hunt will take place 10 a.m. April 4 at Dewey Park.

In addition, the Community Wide Yard Sale was approved for June 6.
