Elwood C.W. Stettler

Elwood C.W. Stettler, 87, of Schnecksville, died March 13, 2015, in his home.

He was the husband of Marilyn E. (Kleckner) Stettler who died Jan. 9.

Born Jan. 7, 1928, in South Whitehall Township, he was the son of the late Howard E. H. and Mary S. (Dotterer) Stettler.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a supervisor for Packaging Corp. of America for many years before retiring.

Since his formal retirement, he drove school bus for the Parkland School District for several years.

He was a member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

His survivors include children Keith E. of Schnecksville, Kathy J. Nickerson and her husband, Lawrence, of New Tripoli; brothers Clifford H.O. and his wife, Gloria, of Allentown, Howard R.E. and his wife, Janet, of Orefield, Roy H.J. and his wife, Carol, of North Carolina; grandchildren, Jason B. Fusselman and his wife, Melissa of New Tripoli, Ashley B. Fusselman, DVM of Allentown; great grandchildren, Taryn Wagner and Abigail Fusselman; step-grandchildren, Kevin Nickerson of Hamburg, Lawrence C. Nickerson of Frackville, Heather Corson of Pottsville, Sean Nickerson of New Tripoli; caregiver Henrietta D. Minish.

He was predeceased by siblings Edwin Stettler, Bertha Roth, Bessie Guth.
