Police made two Southside arrests related to intoxicated driving in short order the early morning of Feb. 26.

Around 12:50 a.m. officers observed a traffic violation and stopped a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Amanda Compton on Fillmore Street. Compton, of Chestert Road, is charged with DUI, one-way roads, traffic control devices and lack of insurance.

About 20 minutes later police observed a vehicle making an illegal turn at Broadway and Wyandotte Street. Pulled over several blocks away, Claudia Davila, 24, of South Jefferson Street in Allentown, is charged with traffic signals and DUI.
