Admission is free for "History Expo, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. March 28, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown.
"This event features an abundance of hands-on activities for children and adults, from old-fashioned crafts to trying on Colonial-style clothing and playing with old-fashioned toys and games, to building a waterwheel and learning about how to save energy and electricity," said Joseph Garrera, Executive Director of the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum.
More than 40 historical societies, house museums, and history organizations from the Lehigh Valley region are expected to participate.
Re-enactors will recreate a French and Indian War era encampment on the museum's 3.5-acre campus.
Abraham Lincoln, his wife Mary, and other historic figures will be portrayed.
There will be tours of the historic 1770 Trout Hall.
Singer-songwriter Dave Fry performs 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Bob Swaim will present his bicycles and will juggle.
The Thomas the Tank Engine Fun Room will be open.
There will be puppet shows.
