William D. Frey, 81, of Schnecksville, died March 9, 2015, in his home.

He and his wife Patricia L. (Rothrock) Frey were married 58 years last Sept. 8.

Born Sept. 21, 1933, in Fogelsville, he was the son of the late William and Margaret (Furst) Frey.

An industrial insulator for Asbestos Workers Union Local 23 for 32 years, he also co-owned Plaza Beverages Inc. at Cedar Crest Shopping Center, South Whitehall, with his wife for 14 years.

He later enjoyed helping his son, Randy, with his endeavor, R.T. Frey Home Improvements.

A member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall, he had a profound love for his family, his gardens and the Yankees.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by children Terri M. Grim, Michael W. Frey, Randy T. Frey and his wife, Shelley, Toni J. Kinsley and her husband, Rick; siblings Evelyn Reichard, Dorothea Nelson, Robert Frey, Barbara Strunk, Richard Frey; grandchildren Bradley, Steven, Christina, Jennie, Lauren, Holly, Christian, Madison; and great-grandchildren Taylor, Kaitlyn, Amber, Brett, Chloe, Coen, Skylar.

He was predeceased by brothers, Paul and John and a sister, Shirley Croll.
