Richard M. Bendoritis, 74, of Macungie, died March 10, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Marilyn H. (Hand) Bendoritis. Born in Jersey City, N.J., he was the son of the late Joseph and Florence (Levendowski) Bendoritis.

He was an educator, teaching in the Wayne Township public schools, Wayne, N.J., for 30 years, retiring in 1999.

He honorably served his country in the Navy.

He is survived by his wife; daughter, Marin A. and her husband Joseph Christopher Ebbets, of California, Md.
