Borough Police Chief Vince Genovese said last week's snow and ice storm had policed tow one vehicle and another seven ticketed. During the winter, police have ticketed more than 20 vehicles. When snow emergencies are declared vehicles must be moved on such streets so that borough public works personnel manning snow plows can do their job.

St. John's Lutheran Church will have a pork and sauerkraut dinner Saturday, March 21, 4-6 p.m., at the church's social hall on South Third Street. The dinner is open to the public. Family game night follows the dinner.

Coplay Sports Inc. reports it has completed its baseball and softball sign-up for boys and girls. However, sign-ups are being taken through the organization's website at www.coplaysports.org or at its email coplaysports@ rcn.com.

Coplay Saengerbund is rolling back the times with a 1970's-1980's dance party, Saturday, March 21. The dinner/dance is expected to have people show up in clothes fitting the theme with a prize going to the best dressed.

The Ironton Rail Trail Oversight Commission has a workday scheduled Saturday. Members and volunteers will meet 8 a.m. at North Ruch & Chestnut streets. The IRT board will meet Tuesday, March 17, 7 p.m. in council chambers at the Coplay Municipal Building.
