Ila F."Sue" Weaver, 83, of Slatington, formerly of Allentown, and Galax, Va., died March 7, 2015, in her home.

She was the wife of the late James E.F. Weaver.

Born Nov. 19, 1931, in Baywood, Va., she was the daughter of the late Enoch E. and Mandy E. (Edwards) Galyean.

Her survivors include daughters Mattalene Miller of Galax, Pamela F. Knappenberger and her husband, Glenn, of Slatington, Melissa S. Krom and her husband, Brian, of New Tripoli; sister Wanda Wampler of Galax; six grandchildren; two great-granddaughters; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by siblings Roy, Robert and Ernest Galyean, Ann Guth and Mildred Johnson.

Her service will be private and at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.
