Another week of snowstorms has finally come to an end.

Hopefully spring will start to make an appearance soon.

Just a friendly reminder all Salisbury Township schools will be closed March 13 for a professional development day for teachers.

Salisbury High School will host the SAT's March 14 for anyone needing to take the tests. Good luck to those testing. There are only a few more opportunities to take the test at the high school this year.

The Western Salisbury PTO will host a purse bingo at Salisbury Middle School noon to 4 p.m. March 15. Tickets will be available at the door.

The third grade lunch at Harry S Truman Elementary School is re-scheduled to March 16. Guests should arrive between 12:15 and 12:25 p.m. Refer to the invitation sent home for the menu.

There will be a school board meeting at the administration building 7:30 p.m. March 18.

The HST PTO will host a candy bingo 6:30 to 8 p.m. March 20. Look for more information to be sent home with students.

It is hard to believe it but students will bring home second trimester report cards March 24.

Kindergarten parent teacher conferences are scheduled March 25 at both HST and Western Salisbury elementary schools.

The Franko Farm Drop-off yard waste site will be open 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. March 28.
