Grade: Nine.

Family Members: I am the daughter of Sara and Greg Katz. I also have an older sister named Elizabeth, who resides in New York City and is four years older than I am.

Favorite subject(s) and why: The subject I enjoy most would have to be art. This is because it allows people from all over the world to express themselves and show their personality through what they see as beauty. I also enjoy history because I love learning about people's cultures and how they came to be.

Activities: After school, one can find me in the gym, on the soccer field, or in the dance studio. I love staying active and taking care of myself to assure I live a long and happy life.

Next steps: I plan on following my life long dream of helping people that suffer with speech issues by pursuing a degree in speech-language pathology.

Career goals: Speech-Language Pathologist.

Heroes: My family and friends are my heroes because they inspire me to be the best that I can be every day.

Hobbies: In addition to staying active, I enjoy creating art pieces, listening to music, and hanging out with my closest friends.

Current Job: I currently work as a waitress at Zen Fusion in Delaware Water Gap, PA.

Volunteer/community work: I have done a lot of volunteer work, which mostly includes volunteering at my dance studio. There, I teach classes, make props, plan charity events, and dance for charity in our company. Every year we dance for local churches, collect gifts for the less fortunate around the holidays, collect food for the homeless, and raise money for the company to purchase team jackets and tee shirts.

Likes: I love meeting new people and learning about what their stories are. I also like getting good grades, and staying fit.

Dislikes: I hate seeing people suffer. I understand that it happens, but I wish it didn't have to.

Advice for peers: Always be confident with who you are. Don't be afraid to show your true colors because you are an individual and you are beautiful. Don't try to be someone else because everyone else is already taken.
