Scott W. Haas, 61, of Allentown, died Feb. 26, 2015, at home.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Anna H. (Crone) Haas of Allentown and the late Walter E. Haas.

He worked for Penn DOT for 10 years before retiring.

A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served four years and was a member of the VFW.

He was a member of Jordan United Church of Christ, South Whitehall.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Bradley; brothers and sisters Candace A., wife of Mike Gulkewicz, of Canton, Mich., Jonathan R. and wife, Mae, of Aurora, Colo., and Rebecca K. Schattner of Allentown; grandson, Braxton; and nieces and nephews.
