Student writers take top honors in Keystone Press Awards

Emmaus High School student writers are among those to earn 2015 Student Keystone Press Awards in Division IV.

The students include: Collen Grablick, who placed second in the general news category for her story "Missing: one year later, mom not found;" Steve Gudonis, Christine Carlson, Justine Coleman and John Lang, who placed second in the public service/enterprise category and first in the sports story category for their project "In One Moment Everything Could Change;" Justine Coleman who placed first and Colleen Grablick who placed second in the column category for the entries "This Just-In" and "Colleen's Corner," respectively; Alana Margolis who was recognized with an honorable mention in the review category for the entry "Gaga and Bennett get jazzy with Cheek to Cheek;" and Angie Stein who placed second in the cartoon/graphic illustration category for the entry "Angie Stein's Editorial Cartoons."

The staff of The Stinger took second place in the layout and design category for the entry "Kevin White."
