Every year area teens have an opportunity to "go green" by donating their prom gowns to the YWCA Prom Dress Day hosted by the YWCA of Bethlehem. Prom Dress Day march 28 is a community service that provides prom dresses to area students. High school juniors and seniors get to come to the boutique and choose a dress and accessories for $5.

The YWCA is looking for gently used gowns, accessories, and shoes. Gowns of all sizes and lengths are needed, including plus size. Donations can be dropped off at through March 18 at the YWCA of Bethlehem, 3893 Adler Place Building B Suite 180 between 9a.m. and 3 p.m.

In addition to dresses and accessories, the YWCA of Bethlehem is in need of rolling racks to display the dresses plus volunteers to help set-up and assist on the day of the event.

Prom Dress Day is open to students (with I.D.) Saturday, March 28 from 9 a.m. to 1:30p.m. at the State Theater, 453 Northampton Street, Easton.
