Raymond R. Bucchin, 87, from Emmaus, formerly of Kempton, died Feb. 9, 2015, in Allentown.

He and his wife Janet E. (Bachman) Bucchin were married 48 years on Jan. 13.

Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late James F. and Emma (Miller) Bucchin.

A graduate of Liberty High School, he was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps.

He retired in 1989 as a senior vice president of retail operations for Chrysler First of Allentown; formerly GAC, Finance America and Nations Credit; after 40 years of loyal service, where he handled their accounts for Toyota and Mitsubishi.

A member of the First Presbyterian Church of Allentown, he also was a member of Lehigh Country Club since 1989.

During the 1980s, in his free time, he coached football and served as president of the Northwestern Youth Athletic Association.

For many years, he served as a volunteer firefighter for the New Tripoli Fire Department.

His hobbies included golfing, hunting and watching football.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Gregory, Jeffrey, Timothy, Michael and Matthew; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a sister, Frances of Bethlehem.

He was predeceased by brothers James, Thomas and Frank.

Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the church.
