The first meeting of the 2015 year for the Indianland Garden Club is 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, at Hope Lutheran Church in Cherryville.

Joe Veshinfsky will demonstrate how to divide dahlias. Learn how to make a simple hand-tied bridal bouquet. Plus, learn other pointers and techniques.

In March, seeds for a club project will be available.

The Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company Country Garden is hosting an all-you-can-eat breakfast 8 a.m. to noon, Sunday, March 15.

Proceeds benefit the fire company.

Come out to the Lehigh Township Historical Society Spring Basket Social at the Lehigh Township Volunteer Fire Company in Cherryville, Sunday, March 29.

Doors open at 1 p.m. Tickets are sold at the door.

This will be the historical society's 12th annual basket social. As in the past, there will be plenty of baskets, gift cards and a "special value" table.

Drawings begin at 4 p.m.

Proceeds benefit maintenance of the Lehigh Township Historical Centre and St. Paul's Schoolhouse.

If anyone would like to donate cash, gift card or an item, contact a member of the historical society or bring the item to the fire company by 11 a.m. the day of the event.
