James W. Blaukovitch, 68 of Allentown, died Feb.19, 2015, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was a son of Frances M. (Dreisbach) Blaukovitch of Bethlehem and the late Walter J. Blaukovitch. He was the husband of Jean M. (Hilbert) Blaukovitch for 42 years.
He was a 1964 graduate of the former Fountain Hill High School.
He was in the U.S. Army during the Viet Nam era.
He was a steamtrap maker for Spirax Sarco USA for many years until he retired. He later was clerk for the Trexlertown Liquor Control Board.
He was a member of Holy Ghost R. C. Church, Bethlehem.
He was a former member of the St. Bernard's Club.
In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by a son, James W. Jr. of Bethlehem; a daughter, Nancy J. Blaukovitch-Kercher and her husband Andrew of Allentown; and a grandson, Thomas J. Blaukovitch.
