Hoot and holler! Ontelaunee Rod and Gun Club, New Tripoli, will have its annual Spring Sportsmen's Raffle and Block Shoot March 15.

This event is one of Ontelaunee's best known traditions and offers free beverages and snacks noon-6 p.m.

In addition to the block shoot, there will also be trap shoots and raffles.

This event is open to the public so non-members may attend.

On March 22, Heidelberg Union Church will be celebrating the birthday of the church during the 11 a.m. service.

A representative from both the Penn Northeast Conference and the Northeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America will be participating.

A catered dinner will follow immediately after the service. Reservations are required, as seating is limited.

Plan ahead! Germansville Fire Company will be celebrating its 100th anniversary on July 11.

If anyone has any articles pertaining to the fire company and would like to share them, copies will be made and returned to the person providing the information.
