Harold F. Christ, 96, of Maxatawny, died Feb. 18, 2015, in The Lutheran Home at Topton.

He was the husband of Bernetta A. (Snyder) Christ who died Feb. 17, 2014.

Born in Kutztown, he was a son of the late George J. and Mary A. (Adam) Christ.

He was a groundskeeper for Kutztown University for 12 years until retiring in 1983.

Prior to that, he was a laborer for the former Lehigh Portland Cement Co., Allentown, from 1951-70.

He was a member of Mount Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, Krumsville.

His survivors include a son, Donald H. and his wife Arlene C. of Pottstown, and four grandchildren.

He was predeceased by a son Larry in 2007 and a grandson Kirk in 1989.
