Domestic dispute reported

A report of a domestic dispute summoned police to the 100 block of Chestnut Street Feb. 15.

On arrival, the officer observed a man placing bags in his vehicle. The individual told the officer he was leaving so there would be no further problems.

Police stood by until the man left.

Agency assisted

Borough police assisted North Catasauqua police with a hit-and-run crash Feb. 15.

According to police, the driver of the offending vehicle refused to stop. The vehicle was stopped in the area of Second and Bridge streets, Catasauqua, where the operator was arrested, police said.

Water leak found

A patrol officer found water flowing on the roadway at the intersection of Center and North Eighth streets Feb. 10.

The issue was a water main break. Northampton Borough Municipal Authority was notified and responded and made repairs, police said.
