Girl Scouts in Cadette/Senior Troop 6942 pose with Whitehall Township Mayor Ed Hozza Jr. during their weekly meeting Feb. 11. Having a picture taken with the mayor is just one of the many requirements in the Rivers Edge Service Unit Selfie Challenge which began at the start of cookie season and ends March 18. There are 24 out-of-the-ordinary, fun and exciting requirements on the selfie challenge list and troops need to complete 20 in order to earn the special patch. Girl Scout Troop 6942 meets at Faith Lutheran Church in Whitehall and is made up of both Whitehall and Catasauqua students.
