Caroline M. Leh

Caroline M. Leh, 91, formerly of Allentown, died Feb. 9, 2015, in Fellowship Manor, Whitehall.

She was the wife of the late Ernest P. Leh.

Born Sept. 19, 1923, in Walberts, South Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Fred W. and Clara M. (Everett) Buchman.

She was a secretary in the nursing department of the Parkland School District for 17 years before retiring in 1981.

She was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs, where she taught Sunday School and was a pianist for 21 years.

She was a former volunteer at Phoebe Home, Allentown, for many years, a life member of the Parkland Garden Club and the Lehigh County Humane Society.

In her youth, she actively participated in 4-H, working with animals and homemaking. She won many awards at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show for raising steers and sheep.

She and her late husband traveled extensively for more than 25 years visiting every state in America at least once.

Her survivors include sons Ronald E. and his wife, Kathleen, of Mohrsville, Fred B. and his wife, Colleen, of Yardley; and granddaughters Morgan and Makenzie of Yardley.

She was predeceased by a grandson Christopher P.
