"A Night of Light," the third annual Lehigh County African-American History Month Recognition Ceremony honors 10 African-Americans for their contributions to the region, 6 - 7 p.m. Feb. 20, Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum, 432 W. Walnut St., Allentown, followed by an Honorary Banquet, 7:30 - 9 p.m., St. James AME Zion Church, 410 W. Union St., Allentown.
The opening ceremony is free and open to the public.

Historians Carla and Allan Messinger of "Native American Heritage Programs" explore the almost unknown story of Native American warriors who fought on both sides in the Civil War in a talk, 1 p.m. Feb. 21, at the Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum.
