City Council President J. William Reynolds announced in a release last week that council is now accepting applications for the position of city controller.

Interested individuals should submit a letter of interest and resumé top the city's clerk's office by noon Feb. 13. Council will appoint a controller at its Feb. 17 meeting, and this person will serve until an elected controller takes office in January 2016.

The previous controller, Dave DiGiacinto, died at home Jan. 26.
