Barbara A. (Cunningham) Dorward, 71, of Allentown, died suddenly and peacefully Feb. 7, 2015, surrounded by her loving family in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Douglas M. "Fritz" Dorward.

Born May 24, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Elizabeth L. (Cunningham) Jacob and Joseph Jacob.

She was an LPN in private duty nursing for 20 years before retiring.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield.

Her survivors include children Thomas D. Dorward and his wife, Sharon, of Allentown, Lucille J. "Tina" Pradel and her companion, Bryan Billig, of Kuhnsville, Lynn M. Muick and her husband, Thomas Jezick, of Alburtis, Joann J. Flexer and her husband, Daniel, of Emmaus; siblings Patti L. Ostrander of Emmaus, Joseph P. Jacob of Whitehall, William P. Jacob of Fleetwood; grandchildren Lindsey, Douglas Jeffrey, Lauren, Robert, Caitlyn, Ian, Shawn, Danielle, Shane and Kyleigh; great-grandchildren Taylor, Avery, Gabriella, Chayce and Isabella.
