Upper Macungie Township police say Katie Dietrich, 18, of the 400 block of Arrowhead Lane, was northbound at 729 Adams Road, Upper Macungie, when her vehicle struck an embankment 2:13 p.m. Jan. 18 and rolled onto its roof.

Police say Dietrich's vehicle struck a patch of ice and slid out of control as it entered a left bend in the roadway.

The vehicle crossed into the southbound lane and struck the embankment, before overturning.

Dietrich, who police say was wearing her seat belt, was uninjured.

Window smashed,

items stolen

A 47-year-old woman from the 6200 block of Vista Terrace, Upper Macungie Township, reported to police 7:35 a.m. Jan. 22 the passenger side front window on her vehicle was smashed sometime overnight and several items were stolen from inside.

Copper stolen

from warehouse

Police say various copper nuts, bolts and fittings worth approximately $100,000 were stolen on Jan. 15 from Warehouse Specialists, 7144 Daniels Drive, Upper Macungie Township.
