Upper Macungie has joined with Designer Kay McLane for a four-week course "Home Decorating Part 1 Color, Styles and Pattern" from 6-8 p.m. Thursdays Feb. 5-26 at Independent Park Community Center, 150 Independent Road, Brein-igsville.

Learn the basics, influences, guidelines, solutions and schemes of color as well as paint finishes, color wheel, arranging, room themes, patterns, lighting, decorating basics and more.
