Ruth C. Fleming, 87, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 23, 2015, while in the care of St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Township. Born in Jersey City, she was a daughter of the late John and Grace (Munson) Fleming.

She graduated from Scotch Plains High School and Centenary Junior College, Hackettstown, both in New Jersey.

She was employed at Western Electric Company, Kearney, N.J.; Marsh & McLennan, New York City; and retired from PPL, Allentown, after 39 years.

She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Bethlehem.

She volunteered for Episcopal Society for Ministry on Aging for 10 years, and the for the church's soup kitchen for 15 years.

She is survived by a sister, Alice Hillman of Whippany, N.J.; two nephews, George Hillman of San Diego, Calif. and John and his wife Ellen Hillman, and three great nieces, all of Whippany, N.J.
