Phyllis J. Lauchnor, 78, of Slatington, died Feb. 3, 2015, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

She was the wife of the late Edwin Lauchnor.

Born April 5, 1936, in South Whitehall Township, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Sadie (Jones) Gildner.

She was formerly a processing line worker at Jaindl Farms Inc., Orefield, for 10 years.

Her survivors include children Richard D. at home, Donald L. of Slatington, Lawrence B. and his wife, Claudia, of Arizona, David L. and his wife, Sherri of Slatington, Sandra M. Neff of Slatington; siblings Albert Gildner of Ironton, Melvin Gildner of Slatington, Betty Galio of Slatington; grandchildren David, John, Adam, Sarah and Emily; great-grandchildren Brylee, Madison and JJ.

Her graveside service will be 11 a.m. Feb. 6, at Union Cemetery, Slatington, with the Rev. David L. Hess officiating.

There will be no calling hours.
