Geraldine Heard, 68, of Bethlehem, died Jan. 29, 2015, in Valley Manor Nursing Home, Coopersburg. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Lillian (Miller) Amey. She was the wife of the late Edward Heard.

She worked for KFC, S. Fourth St., Allentown, for more than 35 years before she retired.

She was a member of the former Grace Lutheran Church, Bethlehem.

She is survived by two daughters, Carol Heard and Gail Hanby; two brothers, Richard and Robert Amey; and a sister, Linda Amey, all of Bethlehem; four granddaughters, Ashley Heard, Sherry Monk, and Tiffany and Jessica Hanby; and two great-grandchildren, Miles and Leighlyn.
