Police looking for

hit and run driver

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Jennifer E. Dietrich of Coplay was struck 8:55 p.m. Jan. 20 as she was walked across the street in front of McDonalds, 5060 Route 873, North Whitehall Township.

Police say Dietrich was struck by a 1998-2000 blue Ford Ranger with white writing on the side, and a cap on the bed or truck bed storage cabinets, and was traveling north of Route 873.

The truck may also have orange and yellow horizontal stripes along the sides, and have damage to the front passenger bumper and headlight area, police say.

Police say the driver is described as a 25- to 35-year-old white male, 6 feet tall, with medium build and dark hair.

According to a police press release received on Jan. 25, Dietrich is in critical condition at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

Police seek info

on dead deer

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say William Franklin Schell, 7045 Farrier Road, Lowhill Township, told police that sometime between the hours of 5 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 24 a deer was illegally harvested on his property.

Homeowner cited

for false alarms

State Police Troop M Bethlehem say Ralph Pieroni, of the 5300 block of Debra Drive, North Whitehall Township, was issued a non-traffic citation 7:46 p.m. Jan. 11 for having 10 false-alarm activations at his home in 12 consecutive months.

Police say the citation was issued through District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.

Driver arrested

for DUI

State Police Troop M Fogelsville say Jonathan David Malouin of Schnecksville was stopped for an alleged traffic violation 2:16 a.m. Dec. 31, 2014, along Route 309 at Ridgeview Drive, South Whitehall Township.

Police allege multiple indicators of impairment were observed.

Malouin was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Charges will be filed upon the reciept of blood tests results with District Judge Jake Hammond, South Whitehall Township.
