Nancy L. Polash, 76, of Macun-gie, died Jan. 21, 2015, in her home.

She and her husband Fred M. Polash were married 56 years last September.

She was employed at Lehigh Cultured Marble, Macungie, for 20 years before retiring.

Previously, she was co-owner of the Fireline Hotel, Bowmanstown.

Born in Queens, New York, she was the daughter of the late Patrick C. and Myrtle M. (Handel) Patterson.

A devoted member of St. Joseph the Worker Roman Catholic Church, Orefield, she had a giving spirit to all she met with little consideration of herself.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Michael J. and wife, Joann, of Stewartstown, Patrick S. and wife, Sheleen, of Schnecksville, daughter Deborah A. Carl of Wescosville; grandchildren JimBob, Brandon, Nicole, Adam, Bethany, Christopher, Kylee and Isabella; great-grandchildren Mason, Amber, Peyton, Shea, Connelly, Addyson, Everett and baby Polash.

She was predeceased by her brother Patrick J. and grandson Ryan.

Contributions may be made in her memory to offset medical expenses for her great-grandson Peyton.

Checks may be made payable to the funeral home and the donations will be given to the family.
