Mary I. Gorgone, 96, of Allentown, died Jan. 21, 2015, in Phoebe Home, Allentown.

She was the wife of the late Peter Gorgone and Glenn E. Bassler.

Born in Wilson Borough, she was a daughter of the late Victor Fehnel and Mabel E. (Rice) Fehnel Miller.

She was a fashion buyer for Hess Brothers for many years.

Her survivors include a niece and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother Harold V. Fehnel and sisters Evelyn M. Lichty and Dorothy I. Knauss.
